I have a newer subframe. NO such issues as you mentioned.
Mounts don't cost that much from Toyota. One can buy the MKIV round mounts which are better anyways and use them flwlessly. I think They are around $80 at the dealer.
PPS rack is not an issue if you don't want to use it. My 1jz has PPS...
I's say check for loose wires.
SAFC-II can cause this problems if the conbnection somes loose or the wires ( if spliced with a connector) can oxidize and have no more contact - Which is the reason you always want to solder it.
BUt I bet it has something to do with the SAFC-II
Yes, his Cressida is very raw at the moment. Can't wait to see all those bugs worked out. When this car takes off, 1st/2nd/3rd Chirps/spins as you hear it fly by.....
I am removing my 1jz from my Supra soon...and will be going 1.5 jz. The 1jz just might find a home in my Cressida as...
1jz pinouts are the same. You gotta make sure which car it came out of as the soarer ecu was different. If its a from a jza70, its the same..I think the soarer ecu /harness had three rows?? Someone correct me if I am wrong please.. :).
