Hahaha...I don't think that is sad at all. Good thing he DID NOT find out about the forums or else that car would have been hacked up already .... and you wouldn't have had such a nice Supra in your posession.
Car is beautiful.
I would listen to IJ and take his advise.
I am going through the swap as of right now. Been through 7ms, 1JZ and now a 2jz. If you don't know what you are doing, it can be costly and frustrating. Fortunately for me, I can do alsmost all of my work myself except for making pretty welds...
I guess they do Chris. I wish I these guys were my neighbours. I would fire up my car as is just to annoy the crap outta them.. lol :biglaugh: :biglaugh:
Thanks. First thing its getting is a downpipe/midpipe to hookup to my exhasut so I can REALLY hear it run for a bit longer without annoying my neighbours and my family.
:biglaugh:
Is that the part number that is showing? 90980-10609. I think these are the Tundra ones, right. A lot better than the plastic ones.I need to order mine...
Good luck on the swap.
Two months is a ;ong time if you are someone who drives the Supra Daily, and because you love driving it that much. My car has been down alsmot that long already and I can't wait...so I understand.. lol.
Definitely worth the wait though...
Okay :
Since CRHISO requested, I decided to take a real deal FIRST START video of my 2jz project.
This car has no exhaust, no downpipe on the turbo, none of the intake is hooked, missing vacum lines, missing 1 sensor ( Air temp )...
no editing on the video ...this is early in the morning...
Well, Camry sesnor should work. The Hydro fan ecu works from a camry in the 1jz. I tested it. The sensor should work as well. You can always rewire the plugs.
it turns......but it got dark and cold . Need a fresh battery, and good light to
actually run the car ...so that I can catch any leaks or sparks or what not...
Tomorrow it will run..I know it.. :) lol.
