What is this??

When I hooked up my battery this connector or whatever it powers made a weird noise. When i unhooked the connected (as shown) it stopped making the noise.
What is this? Theres one on each side of the car, but only the pass. side makes the noise.

It says fuel pump relay right on it...

Mine buzzed for awhile too when one of my grounds didnt have good contact and I was jumping the car.

I didn't see anything written on it...

I will check my grounds...hopefully it goes away. Will it hurt anything when it buzzes?

It didnt give me any problems other than an annoying buzz. I fixed it fairly quickly though so I cant speak on anything long term.

I just want to try to fire the car up, so it'd only be for a minute or two.

You could just jumper the fuel pump at the diag block for testing purposes.

You should plug it in, That is your fuel pump relay.

No. I plugged it in, I'm not that stupid :naughty:

Wait so there are two relays for the fuel pump since there are one on each side.
