So after a hiccup with the ignitor...car runs and drives good. Feeling a slight popping - missing but I need to adjust the TPS > It is out of whack because I did it :( lol .. Also the coil plugs are not good. All this is happening Monday .... off from work so the car gets some quality time with...
About time you put that spoiler on ...no more worrying about following you anymore...lol the other one looked like it would fly off :biglaugh:
CAR LOOKS VERY NICE.................................................I WANT A BLACK AND WHITE PHOTO SHOOT! :)
set it to make sure the throttle type arrow is pointing up...meaning it should be configured as "voltage goes up whne throttle is pressed" SAFCII has this feature..and Neo must have iet too.
Thanks....I sold it to a good friend outta my car and into his. No hassles...and that engine is still as clean and powerful.
I had to get it to that standard though.... :) Wait till you see the 2JZ :)
Have you tried running a wire staright from the ignitor to the tach signal directly? or are you picking them from the harness......there could be a break which is what I am getting at.
I agree. I just went through a bad ignitor. Car was starting and idling like normal. Try revving the car a bit and seeif it revs all the way or just starts to break up. Mine kept breaking up when I revved.....but the stock like idling threw me off until I swapped ignitors.
And yes, my tach was...
follow the ignitor wires to the coil packs. check to make sure if the wires are properly conneted. Are you sure the tach signal is coming off the small connector? I looked at the 2jz wiring and the tack signal is coming off the big connector....and they both use the same ignitor...double check ...
lol...It's the real deal Alex. No paint job there.
Oh yeah...smog is due and will be taken care of next week..now that the car is running.. :):biglaugh:
Do you know which wires for these sensors? Mainly the ABS and Reverse lights. My tranny has two plugs coming out , one from the tail end and the other is from the passenger side.
The sensor on the tail must be the ABS abs am not sure about the other one.
Thanks,
Moe.
