so i tried checking to see if my fuel pump is working and i jumped Fp and B+ and it sparked, so i tried it again and no spark but then the jumper wire got really hot, is there something wrong
also if the alarm was bypassed incorrectly could that also have something to do with it, it looks like they grounded #7 and #10

but all the threads about bypassing the alarm state that you should just ground the #13...
so i jumped FP and B+ and it sparked and the wire i was using to jump it got really hot, i also didnt hear anything, could this possibly be related to the alarm since the alarm was disabled. i ordered the cap adn rotor, it should be here by sat morn, but in the meantime i want to figure out this...
yeah the alarm has been bypassed already, i checked the spark and it was really weak so i checked the dist cap and rotor and their corroded like crazy, im gonna replace them tonight, yeah i just bought the repair manual and am going to check the fuel pump as well tonight

pulled the first spark plug and it wasnt wet but the tip was white, previous owner stopped driving it b/c he had a problem where the alarm would go off constantly and lock the ignition, then he got a bmw and the supra just sat there,
should i drain all the fuel and replace it w/ good fuel or...
