Its like you were asking for me ;)
You know you can run the GE off 7M electronics right? Do a little searching, there's a plethora of this info out there. I myself have an NA-T 2JZ will be building for NASA competition here sooner or later. I plan to use the 7M electronics into a Megasquirt...
IJ, your dash is similar to what mine will be once I swap my 2J in. Except instead of an AIM i'll be using an LCD screen plugged into the megasquirt reading and displaying all the outputs. Simply because a Megasquirt and 7" LCD screen are cheaper than a Haltech and AIM dash, lol
YOu guys know this piece doesnt actually DO anything with the OEM hood right?
The hood has a rubber seal that prevents the air from going up and over anyways. Now in someone's case like ME who has a fiberglass vented hood, this would now be something I need since the fiberglass hood fits...
That's not available for the MKIII, that Chaser part you showed is the MKIV plate.
I'm a direct Chaser dealer so I have all their kits and carbon available, but no carbon MKIII hoods. They do make a "drift" style hood that I have on my own car.
If you add preload, you're pre compressing your spring and eliminating a certain amount of travel in the spring. You should lower the shock body before reducing the amount your spring can compress
However, if you're as low as my Supra is you need ALOT of preload in the front to keep from...

Oh yeah, I forgot about the V bands them selves. I'll have to look that up. I get that fab stuff from Vibrant, and I have a VERY good Vibrant account
It IS a nice exhaust tho!
$1000 in materials? I know a couple guys said thats a pretty good deal, but i'm not seeing it.
The 304 stainless I can get 6' long tubes of for under $100. V band flanges are about $50 for stainless. Only remaining factor are the mufflers. I mean keeping in mind that you did all the welding...
I see what you're saying, and it is right but instead of using generics for terms think of where that pressure actually is. There isnt pressure against the crankcase the pressure is IN the crankcase & it will flow to the area of least pressure which means it would essentially "evacuate itself"...
But see IJ, if it WILL build crankcase pressure that pressure is free to escape into the catch can. Pressure doesnt stay contained, it flows through the path of least resistance, and with the can vented it has free travel to the atmosphere.
I'm thinkin of this like a soda can. If you shake it...
