Yeah I gave each solder a good shot of crc and a clean rag. I'm thinking it'l hold up but I'm also contemplating a new harness since all the wires were soo brittle. Thanks for all the help! :icon_razz

Oh man this is bad news.. I had it finished and all heat shrinked up. Took a good days worth too.. Damn. I had sprayed each soldered section with crc electric cleaner after. Would I still need to go back and clean it with the flux remover?

Oh crap I missed that somehow... Damn it i just finished my harness with it too. It seems fine the flux cleaned the wires really well and the solder is nice and shiny, although the flux does heat the wires REEALLY quickly and starts to melt the wire if you hold it too long so maybe that's why...

Might as well also get a new rad cap from your local auto parts store, they're cheap and chances are yours is old and cracked.

Yep, always need to burp the system after a coolant change. Remove rad cap, jack front of car up, heat on full blast and let her idle for I dunno say 30 secs to a minute with a couple of 1500-2000 rev's. Get engine to op temp, pull efi fuse, pull all spark plugs, make sure battery is fully...

I have the f1 stage 3 with light fly and I had crazy shudders. I replaced the drive shaft carrier bearing and now it only barely rattles starting in 1st. i was also missing the wave washer on the clutch hub tho.. Engine being machined so since it's out I'm gonna get the fly surfaced and address...
