Anybody have a micrometer I can borrow?

Matt (HighNitro), I get what my Supra needs, but I'm on a fixed income and for something like a micrometer I'd rather borrow the tool than buy it right now. Matt (Mattsplat72), check your PM's. I'll call you tomorrow. Adam

    1JZ scheme HELP!!

I vote polish everything. The valve covers will take atleast 10-12 hours to do by hand without power tools. It's well worth the time though because the end result is amazing looking and the heat is removed faster. See the last couple pages of my build thread to see my polished valve covers...

    Project Clean 87

Well I got the bucket shims measured, the cams bolted down for clearance checking (I feel retarded since I'm not sure of how much resistance I should feel with the feeler guages), and my injectors fully installed and all the crap I had to take off to get to them re-installed. I also cleaned up...

    Just got my first Mk3!

Don't use an OEM head gasket, that's just asking for another BHG.

Not bad for the price. You have a lot of cleaning to do I see (interior and engine bay). Welcome bro, you've come to the right place.

Anybody have a micrometer I can borrow?

Duane, you are funny. Yes I know my budget is extremely tight, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't have prefered to just buy the tool versus borrowing it.

Thanks sirgeorgee. I'm working on getting the specs right now for the clearances between the cams and the bucket shims. I know my Supra has come a long ways, and it has a lot longer to go.

Anybody have a micrometer I can borrow?

I think I can just take the shims to a local auto shop and "rent" their micrometer for a couple bucks if I use it there. I'll try that today. thanks anyways bro.

Here's the 2nd half of yesterday's pics. Me and Kyle (Frankenstein) got a lot done. We are now at the point of taking measurements for clearances and bucket sizing and then figuring out how to rearrange the bucket shims. The foot long piece of red cable is the excess power cable I cut out. I...

Anybody have a micrometer I can borrow?

I need a micrometer to borrow so I can measure my bucket shims. I'm in northern Washington, so anywhere between Everett and Canada would be ideal. I don't need it for long. Please give me a call or text me ASAP. Thank you. Adam (503)206-9067

    1JZ fuel rail removal

How do you remove the rear line that goes into the fuel rail (next to the fire wall)? I've searched but haven't found anything useful. Everything else is already off. Thanks all:1zhelp: Adam
