LOL people want to disable factory alarms because it keeps the owner out and lets the thieves in. I couldnt tell you how many times the little micro switch wires come off rendering it useless and going off when the owner unlocks it.
You could have the worlds best alarm & kill switch but it...
E-fan jza-70 shroud works I know because im using it.
the third gen soarer is the cousin of the mkiv
the second gen square one is the cousin of the mkiii think of the soapra version of the soarer not the sc300 version.
I mounted my innovative AFR meter where the buttons are for the coin holder & blank panel left of the stearing column in that plastic piece. its easily visable & doesnt block my other gauges and doesnt draw cops attention to it like on the pillars or dash.
You dont need to extend the harness.
You can keep the oem harness install it better & safer save down time & money.
There is many write ups on how to do the safely.
Use the JZA70 fan shroud ok!
The koyo is made to use the JZA70 shroud which will line up better to the 1JZ then the 7M.
Maybe even the aristo shroud if you must may work.
It is worth it I think I almost bought an AR5 in paramont for 500.

Most of the delay in response when laying off the accelerator haves to do with the weight of the rotating pieces not the carrier bearing, but the carrier causes clunking when shifting if its bad.
Would you like a picture of mine ?
I could prob also dig up some P#s
You have to bend the water tube down just a tiny bit to clear the breather but there is nothing wrong with it infact it will help your car breath better on idle instead of it pulling the air through a long tube feeding off...
I used a K&N Mini breather it will not hurt a MAP tuned car.
You could even have a boost leak on a JDM JZ engine it will not hurt the engine like the AFM metered oem ECU 7Ms you will still be able to drive the car with no problem but with a boost leak I think the JZ only makes ~200-220 crank HP...
+1
Same place where I mounted mine on the backside of the front bumper most all good ballest are water proof but not safe to submerge.
As close to the light as passible yet as high & dry I found the front bumper above the foglight and below the head light is the safest area to mount them.
