Washington is the same way. So long as you are atleast 21, not a felon, and not legally prohibited from owning a pistol you can open carry into most places unless otherwise posted (like my local mall or any place that you can drink alcohol for example). The local O'Reilley's asked me to not...

    Project Clean 87

Pulled off what's left of my crank dampener pulley, soldered and heat shrinked the temporary connections, mounted the ballasts, and tucked the wires under the lights today. I also did a bunch of work on the parts car. I'll put up pics tomorrow, after I get some sleep.

    Paint q.

Last July-September actually. I paid $400 in paint materials (base coat, clear coat), 3 coats each. I did the 90% of the prep and had a local body shop mask and spray. They didn't sand between coats, no cut and buff yet, and I have chips in some spots, especially the front bumper and the...

    Paint q.

I take it you've never repainted a car before? Good paint isn't cheap, nor is good clear. If you want a high quality paint job, you will want to buy enough of both the base coat and the clear coat for 6-10 coats each. I say this only because a good paint job is color sanded between coats...

    Paint q.

By your logic Mac none of us should be putting on big singles and all the other stuff we do that cost more than the car is worth. Nothing wrong with repainting a Supra, it helps keep it look young. Besides, if you buy a sports car and expect to sell it as a whole for what you put into it...

Atleast $1400 in materials. If you're paying for the prep and getting color sanding done between coats you're looking at atleast $4000 in labor. Don't forget you gotta strip the engine bay (pull the motor and tranny and all the other stuff in the engine bay), and remove the doors, all the...

The What Makes Me Happpy (WMMH) Thread

Having a pile of parts to ship out because I'm selling off my parts car quickly. That, and creating space by selling the parts (I hate clutter with a passion). Adam

Not factory. That's a spot that really needs a good coat of clear to protect from stone chips as my Supra is showing.

I forgot you were N/A. In that case staggered wheels aren't necessary. You won't have issues with rubbing, I don't. Although I did have to roll my rear fenders. With the propper offset you can run a 275 in the rear without any modification. I had to roll my fenders since I could only get a...
