Thank you. To answer your question, yes you can put the 89+ lights on a pre-89. Do a search in the general MKIII section for 89+ taillight conversion

Got a replacement cam gear cover Friday and took a stab at re-wiring my fog lights so they are independant (gotta fix my crossed wires still).

Ok ok ok! I'm going to make another stab at it myself, just gotta get past bolting on the manifold and I'll be good. 2 of the lower nuts are refusing to thread on, so I'm going to do a little modifying of the nuts to get them on. Wish me luck! Side note, my ATE Superblue brake fluid...

Got a little bored so I decided to see what my HID's look like at night. Since the motor isn't running only 1 HID will operate. Here's a before with both Halogens on and an after with only 1 HID on. Quite the difference.

I'm going to take my Supra up to Randy's (BIC) shop (well, have Daryl do it) in 3 weeks and have Randy install and tune my turbo kit. I'm sick of looking at it and my pile of parts.

Bad news, I just discovered my manifold is missing the bracing it's suppossed to have, so I gotta send my manifold back to Driftmotion and he'll have the braces welded on and make sure everything else is good on it. Shit happens, especially when you're a very busy business. A+ to Driftmotion...

I have the instructions on how to do it. Aaron sent them to me last night.

Just ordered the oil line kit from Driftmotion. I gotta pull off my turbo and unbolt my manifold so I can bolt it back up (the 3 small nut are very tricky to get on and tighten, gotta do it a special way due to tight clearances). Aaron at DM sent me instructions last night on how to do it. Adam

30 gallons??? That must have sucked just cleaning it up, let alone the smell.

Bad news, I went to refill my diff tonight and when I removed the fill hole bolt it fealt very loose (torqued very low), and when I tightened the bolt I realized that the threading in the diff is stripped :( Time to get something better.

    Screaming in my Supra!

Lol, I think the only person you'd get to ride in your Supra without screaming is another big single Supra owner.

I have the kill switch installed, I just need to re-wire it to be track legal (it kills the ground right now). Look at the upper right hand corner of my rear liscense plate, you can barely see it in my sig. It's on my list of things to do. I'll do it at the same time I re-do the power cable...

    1jz...fd?..wut?

Oh yeah, duh. I forgot the late model 1J's came single. I'm too used to seeing non-VVTi 1J's.

I decided it's time to change my diff oil. I pulled the plug last night to let it drain really well. I must say, that fluid stinks to high hell. I also just bought some ATE Superblue brake fluid and flush out the old crap out of my brake system.

Got my crank pulley dampener installed today. I also finished my chopping of the battery cable ground. I couldn't fit it behind the panel so I had to bolt it to my strut tower brace which is directly bolted to the strut towers. Looks much better now.

    looking for the best/cheapest standalone.

You are wasting your money at this point. Get some upgrades and buy a standalone when you need it. Otherwise you'll be throwing your money away on tuning. Get a fuel piggyback like the SAFC NEO and you'll be fine for a while. The cheapest part of a standalone is the standalone itself...
