    ***The Grey Supras Thread***

they're Koya Drifteks, a popular wheel amongst the drifting kids here hence their name. they did look good with the car but I actually ended up selling them because I have some 18s which look better :D

    --Golli's MA71 build

you're not doing C-Max are you Dale? my mate works for them, he was probably monitoring you guys, making sure you dont try to escape the premises on a crazy rant. BTW, nice build, just saw this now, looking forward to the end product!

Ball joints - how much grease?

Might be a stupid question...but how much grease should you pump in when greasing a brand new ball joint? Surely if you over-fill the joint it could damage dust seals/boots. I took my new ball joints into an auto shop for them to grease but it doesn't feel like there is a whole lot in there...

    spiller's JZA70 build-up

yeah, i need to find a good workshop to do my generally fitting. although i try to do most of that stuff myself. i have an excellent metal fab guy whom i can trust and does amazing work. i figured the bushes were only a small job but give a bunch of morons (like pedders) a small job and they...

    spiller's JZA70 build-up

yep, being organised is KEY to getting the job done properly and keeping things on schedule/ticking over. when i get under my car i get overwhelmed at the amount of shit that i have to do and there isnt even "that much" haha. i spent all afternoon degreasing today as previous owner obviously...

    spiller's JZA70 build-up

yeah it was actually really easy with the wire wheel. took me about 1 hour to do both. i could have gone further with wet grit and got rid of all the casting marks but at the end of the day its in the wheel arch and can barely be seen so as long as they're clean, im happy.

Energy Suspension poly bushes - who's used them?

^^^Thanks for that buddy. I'm dealing with drifmotion who are being very helpful in getting to the bottom of this.

    spiller's JZA70 build-up

well, ive had a minor set back with this. turns out Energy suspension made a mistake when they packaged my front control arm bushing kit and accidently put a completely random part in there. as a result, im missing one of the bushings for the lower control arm. Aaron from driftmotion is onto it...

Energy Suspension poly bushes - who's used them?

thanks for the replies guys! I've spokent to the suspension place and it looks like Energy have mis-packaged my bushes. 7 of the 8 lower control arm bushes are identical and one is 10mm larger in diameter than the lower control arm bush housing. So one of my lower control arms is without a...

Energy Suspension poly bushes - who's used them?

yeah i know for a fact that the bushes are larger than the space in the lower control arms but part of the inside of the arm needs to be punched out to make the extra space. but from what i gather here, just one out of all of the bushes is completely different to the rest of them, and they've...

Energy Suspension poly bushes - who's used them?

I have a little problem... I bought a set of energy suspension polyurethane bushes for the front from Driftmotion (this is the black type, not the red) and dropped the front upper and lower arms off to a suspension place along with the bushes (un-opened, still in sealed bag) and got a call...

    spiller's JZA70 build-up

brakes were up on sa supra for a while, ended up selling to a local guy on toymods tho. Got it through the second time, although it was just an ID inspection, the guy and his lackies took the liberty to go over every aspect of the car with a fine toothed comb, torches and all! They wouldn't...

    spiller's JZA70 build-up

about time I updated this thread I think! I returned home a fews ago from a 5 week stay in Chicago over xmas with the girlfriend's family, what a great trip, and what a great opportunity to source some cool parts that would have been far more expensive had I paid shipping and customs on them...

    Stuck Upper Balljoint

apparently knocking the side of the balljoint rather than on top or on the thread works best to get them free. i can't talk from experience but will be attempting this next month when i pull my front end apart.

    JDM Euro Turn Signals

suprasport can find them, they got me a pair but i wouldnt recommend them AT ALL. their service is absolutely terrible from my experience, and after waiting 5 weeks without hearing a thing, they arrived and one of them is chipped anyway.

    Wheel Fitment & Question Thread

some body shops specialize in custom work like that but i'd imagine it would be pretty pricey. you can flare the fenders with a guard roller if you are handy but you will almost definitely need paint work to go with it. maybe talk to whomever rolled your fenders and ask if they are up to the task.
