Just unplug the actuators, remove actuators, and hide/tuck the wires away. The only way to fully remove the system is to replace the shocks or go with coilovers, and trace wires back throughout the car and remove. Big waste of time to trace all the wires back. IIRC you will have to pull off...

I have poly bushings on my BMW, and they do squeak, but like Fuzz said it only happens at very slow speeds. And I've been running them for about 3 years with no problems, daily driven.

I'm not really worried to much, I'm sure they are clean. They ran fine before I pulled them, just wanted to have them cleaned and tested to be sure. I just don't know how accurate that data is...
