Yeah...You're right!
And I was thinking,I have new rims/tires...why did I get 2 stickers of lead on each rim?
Damn those sensors...:biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh:
I also installed four sard vortex generators over the rear hatch window.
They look cool...JDM style :biglaugh::sarcasm::biglaugh:
RHDjapan.com says that these can lower the cd drag about 0.01 cd. Who knows?
Got also some carbon hood pins for the 'Stout' carbon hood
And I took off...
It uses wireless sensors. The valve attaches to the sensor inside the
rim. Send you some pictures...
They display tire pressure/temp in real time with an accuracy of - / + 1
psi or Farenheit. Nice gadget. You can set peak datas and warnings! It is important though to know exactly your...
The 18" Azev rims have arrived finally after 3 months
Front is 8.5" x 18" ET 20 with 235-40/18'' and rear is 10.5" x 18" ET 24
with 275-35/18" Dunlop Maxx asimetric tires.
I rolled the rear fenders and pulled them a little,so they won't rub :sarcasm:
Front are ok,no need to do...
More pictures....
With the carbon hood, mirrors, rear wing, side diffusers :biglaugh:
The above picture was taken with the stock mirrors on...though.
The 17" Azev A rims have been sold. New rims..Same Azev A are on the way,
but widder and bigger ones :sarcasm:
Stay tuned...
Nice story....Built that motor,so next time you can show him how those mk3s
are moving around.
True story is that,we can't move against those cars with only 240 hp :cry
That's why I am going single :biglaugh: stay tuned:sarcasm:
If the cost of the straight cut gear kit would be in the range of $ 1500-2000
USD I might be interested.
But I want 1st gear and 2nd gear to be longer...
Stock R154 gearing -----> Wish to have gearing
------------------ -------------------------
First Gear...
Any comments on that kit from that company???
Has anyone put them on?
Any suggestions?
Have a chance to buy one kit (6pot/355mm) for 1500 $....:sarcasm:
p.s. IJ you have a pm
Nice job on the restoration! Very clean car bro....:biglaugh:
I am from Europe also! :naughty:
Great to see top notch european mk3s !
Continue the good work.
What size is your wheel? If it is an 18 inch rim...the 355mm rotor should fit!
What should be the clearence between the rotor and the rim to clear these brakes? 2.5 inches should be enough I think...
The diffuser might not be "the one"...but the this black car is all the money!
Awasome car...:biglaugh:
With a lot of parts on the exterior....well joined and matched together!
A show car!
p.s. The diffuser is not bad at all...reminds me the top secret one for the mk4s
Do you know if willwood front big brake kit (355mmm rotor) will clear ok with a
18x8.5 25ET front wheel?
I know,it depends from the rim and it's spoke design...but at least can somebody tell me how many mm should be the
clearment between the disc's surface and the inside of the wheel...
Thanks! As a car (supra) is very very rare over here....:naughty:
I am glad and I feel very lucky to have one of these rare 'wheels' in
Europe. On the other hand I feel very alone, and sometime helpless:cry:
I do thank Supramania forum for bringing the Supra community close to
me...
Usually you can machine the rim to change the offset a little bit...
But only just a little bit, about 3-5mm.Some rims, like Azev (made in Germany),
gives you a wider range of machining and changing the offset.
Front is 8.5' x 18' with factory offset 18' ....but the dealer says that
we can...
Nice job....
Going single is not so easy,as many people think.
It's all about a new fuel system, turbo kit, partly exhaust set-up,partly IC piping and last a standalone ecu. Also requires many small parts to get fabricated correctly.
Good luck to your single project...almost there :biglaugh:
Will do :biglaugh:
Actualy the rear bumper is the stock one.
I have made a custom rear under spoiler. It is a combination of Bomex
rears and Regulus rear section. I have added a rear deffuser.
The rear deffuser is also a custom work from fiberglass and it is painted
black.
That's all...
Welcome to the 2jz mk3 club....:biglaugh:
Nice job! Is that an ACT Single disc clutch?
As about wiring the 2jz aristo and your diagnosis issue:
You should only take the pin 6 on the E10 (TCCS ecu plug) and connect
it to the (MA70) M1 (89-92 dark grey plug) pin 9 ...
or to M1 (87-88...
