Can anyone confirm these part #'s??

Just go to this website: http://www.trademotion.com/partlocator/index.cfm?siteid=213747 , and put your part #'s in the box, select Toyota for dropdown, and search. If they're good part #'s, it will show up in the search.

How to tighten turbo to manifold bolts?

Not as easy as just doing it without a torque wrench, which as I stated, works every time for me, on every 7MGTE I've worked on.

How to tighten turbo to manifold bolts?

You can't really use a crows foot wrench, because it changes the length of the torque wrench, and thus throws off the setting. it take some significant math to calculate the torque difference. Just hand tighten it real solid, always worked for me.:aigo:

    Exhaust and passing inspection

No problem, when I get it running, I would be glad to go to easton, as long as I know I'm getting a sticker. send me a PM with the address of the shop. Thanks for the reply!

    Exhaust and passing inspection

True, but MA law prohibits exhaust modification of any type. Emissions don't matter, but having a three inch exhaust in place of a two and a half inch exhaust certainly does. I'm in search of someone who will overlook that.

    Boost leak like symptoms

No they're not. This was the problem I had just before the HG went. Why would I, or anyone for that matter, want to rebuild an engine, knowing you would only to have to troubleshoot it right after. I think I've been pretty plain in my desire to have this thing 100 percent when I get back on the...

    Boost leak like symptoms

Well, I want an idea as to what the true problem is, so it won't happen again when I put the motor back in. Doh!:3d_frown:

Just blew my HG on my JDM motor. RATS!

Thanks for the welcome. My pet peeve is guys who say you must use engine to describe a vehicle powerplant. If what you say is true, then why don't they call motorcycles, enginecycles? And why doesn't Ford call there parts company Enginecraft, instead of Motorcraft? A word's meaning can grow to...

    Boost leak like symptoms

This was happening for a few weeks, and I wasn't losing any coolant at all. After the gasket went, I thought of that possibility, but it just doesn't seem to fit the evidence. And the engine is sitting on the garage floor right now.

    Boost leak like symptoms

Oh, and one other thing I forgot to mention, It revs fine with no load on it. This only happens when I'm in motion.

    Boost leak like symptoms

It seems you're not following me. It can't be the maf, as below a certain throttle position, the engine runs, and boosts fine. What has a maf got to do with throttle position? :1zhelp:

    Boost leak like symptoms

No, not yet, as I have no money to do it with. I want to solve the acceleration problem before I rebuild the engine. When I get this thing running again, I want it running perfect out of the blocks.:biglaugh:

    Boost leak like symptoms

I can't remember the codes, and the rpm range is from past the max working throttle position, about 2300 rpm, and goes to redline. If I babied it, I could drive just fine, but push the pedal down just a bit more, and look out. It acts like a sizable boost leak, but it's definitely not. :aigo:

    Boost leak like symptoms

As i said, I replaced the entire IC assy., with 3 inch aluminum, and silicone hoses. It's not a boost leak, and I determined this by slowly applying the throttle, and listening and feeling for it to happen. If I kept the throttle below a certain spot, it would boost just fine, but as soon as I...

    Boost leak like symptoms

At full throttle, the mil would come on, and then go off as soon as you let off the pedal. As for codes, I pulled them, but I can't remember what they were.
