    Kwnate's "FTW" build

Another guy with a supra and chevelle huh? Looks like both are gonna be bad-ass. I did a frame-off on my chevele as well, and as annoying and time consuming as it is, its worth it. Good luck with both!

    drag tires for mk3

5.5 is not enough to maximize tire size. The best would be a 15x8 with 6.5. as i said, i ran the 15x8/5.5, and it fit, but with 28x10.5s they rubbed hard....26x8.5s would fit fine, but then youre sacrificing 2" of section width. Although if your car isnt lowered much, the 26x10.5s might tuck...

    drag tires for mk3

Ive tried a couple different combos, and the 26x10.5 on the sawblade is the best for the $$. The welds don't offer enough backspacing to fit a bigger tire than you can on the sawblades. If Weld offered a 15x8 with 6.5" backspacing, then we'd be in business, but they dont, so a 28x10.5 rubs...

Waffles vs. Pancakes vs. French Toast

I didnt read this whole thread, but you're out of youre damn mind if you think pancakes are better than waffles. :) I mean c'mon, if 'cakes' is part of the word, then its masculinity is a little suspect, wouldnt you say? :)

New! LS7 Gen IV vs. Supra III 7M or Conversion

As figgie has stated, the vettes have a transaxle as opposed to a normal transmission, so thats out. His best bet (both cost wise, and "ease" of install) is an ls1 if he wants to stick with that gen of sbc's. Just as much power potential, and way more plentiful. They even make carb manifolds for...

IJ the buckets i got with the cam are very thin :) I really cant wait to get it all together. :evil2: My goal for the car, in all honesty, is 1200whp. I'd like to bury the dyno in vegas. TX2k6 is too soon unfortunately for me to get the car there, btu im thinkin of flying down there for it...

    Custom cams came in....*pics*

IJ, unfortunately, i have not put them in the head yet. The furthest i got was pressure testing the ferrea springs and finding out they didnt have enough seat or open pressure. I then set the project aside for a few weeks until i could get the new springs, which i should be gettign soon. Once i...

    Custom cams came in....*pics*

True, i could shim for more pressure, but then i would start to worry about coil bind. It would probably be ok, btu i think im just gonna get the right springs the 1st time around, ive went this far, i suppose i shouldnt cut any corners....
