jay, just swap out a shim if the clearance is too loose.if the shim was too tight, you would loose a little compression in that cylinder and maybe have a little poping out the exhaust.
you can wedge the lifter down and pull the shim out with a magnet,no need to pull the cam.actually it will...
if that sway bar is moving up and down near the crank pulley,it's your suspension that has a problem.the swaybar should only twist a little there, not move up and down.
hey aaron, which one are you running.i was looking at the 2jz one for my mkIII,but not sure about the wastegate hitting the motor mount.really just worried about clearance in general

my aluminum 1 pc made a noticable differance.my car is auto,so pretty much everything is much more noticable.as for weight, all you have to do is try bolting up the stocker on your back.not fun at all.one hand the 1 pc in there, very easy.stock unit has got to be more then double the weight
the 2 peice driveshaft's rear section is heavy because of the double tube with bonded rubber isolator.just replacing the rear section alone will drop some weight.
i wouldn't use the ttc(sequental) mode with the stock turbo's.i would run them parrallel to prolong the death of the rear turbo(if it isn't allready junk).the sequental system was nice for low end,but not realiability.the front turbo spooling the rear is hard on the turbo shaft.if the vsv's...
the getrag six speed will fit with custom trans mount and driveshaft.you will want to change the diff gearing and find a converter for the speedo drive(electric to mechanical).most people wouldn't bother with the swap because there power goal doesn't justify the price.
used getrag's go for...
i had the shine lip on my car also.it doesn't really sit any lower then the stocker.it's just an illusion the way it wraps the bumper.it would probably look alot better painted, even though i haven't seen one done up yet.i also think it look's better when you follow the line's of the bumper on...
i drilled two hole's in some flat stock.then bolted it to the flywheel bolt hole's.turned the engine till the flat stock was locked on the engine stand arm's.breaker bar with the handle off my floor jack and presto off very easy
