you need to also make sure you have a fan guard and intact under tray, both still available brand new from Toyota...
in order to run optimally, all OEM cooling parts need to be in working order...

take off the steering column covers and next to the keyhole ring, there's a single screw holding on a white button, just take it off and it'll stop beeping..
mine was actually disconnected and once I put it back on, it started beeping.......so I took it off again..:D
I don't feel like reading all the crap in this this thread, I just want to know if pre 89 and 89+ share the same under cover, and if so, can I zip tie it on, or do I need special clasps, because sourcing them would be a bitch...
