    1300 Kg Track SUPRA project

thanks for the link. I think you are doing well with the police already considering that you drive the car on the street with a full cage and all of the other stuff haha those splitters are are really good price too! which size did you need 595mm?

    1300 Kg Track SUPRA project

thats good to hear josbeat. Who did you use to make the splitter? And it looks like you have hinges on the front of it so it can flip down for oil changes? bad luck with the injector issue, that always sucks when you miss out on track time!

that splitter is huge! hopefully it will help solve the understeering issues that our cars are renowned for! Josbeat, is it a custom made splitter?

    Rear BBK anyone?

As long as the drum is wide enough for the e-brake shoe, it shouldn't be an issue.

    Rear BBK anyone?

It was an A70 (which is the same as Z20 as IJ said). A braking system is actually simpler than you think. As long as it all bolts up and the rotor is spaced evenly between the in-board and out-board sides of the caliper (and runs true of course), it will work. All you need is hydraulic pressure...

    Aluminum sub-frame bushes?

Who makes them? I'm after some for the front and/or rear. I acknowledge that this will do wonders for the discomfort of the car, but its a road course orientated set up so making it handle better is my major goal. I will probably weld the rear subframe onto the chassis but if anyone knows where...

    Rear BBK anyone?

The spacers are to bring the caliper further out-board (towards the wheel) and you need four in total (one for each caliper mounting point). From what I gather, you dont need any spacers for the rotor, it slides right on with the central bore modified to 60.1mm. Mo87NA do you have a part no...

    spiller's JZA70 build-up

thanks Sam, good to hear the Haltech is doing well too. Supposedly they have really got their act together as a company with their new products. I need to talk to my tuner about turbo selection before I make a decision but since its a track orientated car, more power is great but I also want to...

    spiller's JZA70 build-up

yeah mate, exciting times ahead, if i can managed to stay motivated haha. I havent lined up a motor as of yet but im on the look out for something stock with relatively low kms and probably no turbos. I'm not planning on going too crazy with the motor but will do the head gasket and all seals...

    spiller's JZA70 build-up

Thanks dude, yeah I'm going to take my time with things and be as organized as possible as I've learnt from the past that it makes reassembly much smoother!

    spiller's JZA70 build-up

Washed my car for the first time in 8 months on the weekend and took it for one last drive. After much deliberation (which included toying with the idea of dropping an L98 and T56 into it), ive decided to pull it off the road and put a 2JZ into it. I may as well go with an aftermarket turbo...

How much have you spent on your MkIII

I'm nearing close to 10K on wiring, hardware and tuning. Good "investment" imo haha. A financial adviser would tell you otherwise!

    Rear BBK anyone?

The handbrake cable and shoe assembly stays where it is and acts on the drum on the inside of the sti rotor hat just as the stock supra setup does

    question about steering rack

ok, well my belt probably does slip a little because of the slipperly alloy surface but id be very interested to know those diameters if you are able to track them down. I dont like the pulley kit that's on there anyway, it looks cheap and I hadnt considered it to be the cause of my steering...

    question about steering rack

im not actually sure if the diameter is different as the kit came with the car. Whats the diamter of the stock PPS pulley? I was more so leading to the fact that less mass in the pulley creates less drive through the pump?
