No there isnt a print out for A/F. I got this dyno for $40 for 2 runs. I just wanted to know the numbers. There was some smoke above 4500 so I think it was a little rich.
I think that if you have a Mk3...have a Targa. It sets it apart from so many other sports cars. From a sports car point of view...convertibles are gay/womanly, hardtops are just common...targa's are sick. The car also "feels" lighter and smaller with the targa out. I take it out every...
SKATEBOARDING!!!!...I know way too many USELESS skateboarders from where I grew up. At least with drifting the person has to set goals to be able to buy a car and work on it somewhat. That has merit in my mind. You can buy a skateboard with you allowance from your parents...
Full mods list: DDP, Magnaflow high flow cat, 3 inch back to Magnaflow muffler. HKS SMF intake, stock AFM. HKS BOV with install kit. Speed Source lower hard pipe, stock intercooler. Crappy MBC set at about 11 lbs. R154 with stock clutch. Stock 3.90 gears in the diff. The car has 218 000...
Right now I have nothing to tune with. Soon I would like to pull out the injectors and have them cleaned and flow tested. Then just a FPR and a SAFC II...possibly a Walbro. Then I would be able to turn up the boost a little further with the peace of mind I need.
What would make the torque numbers so high?
It was really funny when I got the results...I was there with a local Prelude club. The average torque was about 200 lbs less than mine. The next highest was a Hemi Ram that put down 320 tq and 260 hp.
Thanks guys,
The intercooler is stock. The turbo is not upgraded. I have the Speed Source lower hard pipe and the HKS BOV but other than that its stock piping. Im running HKS 1.2 MHG with ARP's torqued to 90 ft/lbs.
I was really impressed with my torque numbers but I wanted to know how...
I took my 88 Supra to the dyno for the first time yesterday. I have just basic mods and was looking for sort of a base line. DDP, 3inch exhaust, intake, MBC set to 11 psi. (spikes to 12...settles to 10-11). I thought it did quite well considering my level of modification and what I have seen...
Im away at school so I brought my 88 turbo. Now I found a project car to add to the collection. Red 84 P type...one day will have a 7M swap. My roommate also has a black 84. We look like the drug dealers of the student ghetto.
I have heard that after the install of a DDP, the boost pressure is raised from where it was before. For example, the boost pressure was set to 10 lbs and after the DDP, he was seeing around 14 lbs. What could cause this? Weak wastegate spring? Does this only happen when re-routed? Will this...
I had the MBC before, during and after the boost leak. The settings have not been changed since install. I also have a Stewart Warner boost gauge.
I think that the problem may be related to heat. When I went out for a drive at night, the problem was gone. I will drive around more today...

I have had it on the car all summer. Never had this problem until now.
I developed a new problem today. I just replaced my cracked lower intercooler piping with the speed source kit. This solved the boost leak I had been experiencing but now I have a new problem.
I took the car for a test drive. During this drive the boost level would change from 10 lbs (MBC...
I had to have this Magnaflow muffler modified by the exhaust shop to make it 3 inch in. The tips are dual 3.5 inch out. If interested send email to george@raptorracing.com. He can get this for you.
When I was looking for exhausts I couldn't find one with the look I wanted so I had one custom made at an exhaust shop. It is all 3 inch with a Magnaflow high flow cat, HKS downpipe, HKS turbo elbow, resonator and a 3inch inlet to dual 3.5 inch outlet muffler. I think it sounds great. Really...
