    maf light?

Easy fix. Remove your coolant res, unplug your sensor and take it out of the car. (It is just a tight fit, if your very careful, and use a long common screwdriver, you can remove the coolant overflow tank and leave the bracket mounted on the car. Otherwise, just unbolt the bracket and take it...

    Oil mods and pics.

IJ, I totally agree! When is Moroso going to build us one here for the States, and/or someone going to start mass producing them? (Yep, neither is going to happen anytime soon I belive.) Thanks though, I think this seutp will be fine for awhile as my better half is pretty much done with me...

    Brake photos too.

Not much on these, and I'm not really happy with how the paint on the calipers is holding up, so I'll either polish them, or powdercoat them the next time they are off the car. (might be awhile.) Front setup. GNIII 6 piston caliper and 14x1.38" rotors on custom alloy hats. And the rears...

Thanks, nothing like X,XXX$ in foolishness purchasing stainless AN lines, fittings and other "stuff" from Canton and the local hose supplier. The good part is oil pressure where I wanted it, and if the car is driven hard, I don't have to worry about oil related engine failure.

    radiator hoses

How about this idea? I just bought the Earl's setup, and it works great. You trim it to fit, and they have longer ones you can buy that will replace the lower one if you want as well. There are "copies" on Ebay for less, and they might work fine, but this one is a real Earl's setup. If the new...

    Oil mods and pics.

Ok, finally took some photos as I'm pulling out the Eman/E-01 today, so I figured I'd post some photos of the Uber oil system too. here is the pump and crossover mods. Everything is AN10 sized from the pump, block, filter, cooler and back into the main galley. There is no filter adapter...

Lex/stock turbo AFM blow through mod?

Not to throw fuel on this fire, but the pre 89 HAC is the same sensor the stock boost gauge uses to send the pressure signal, so it should be good for a signal into the 10psi range. (Not that this means the TCCS can do anything with this signal of course.) I have thought about running a vac...

    maftpro is working

Thanks for the feedback, and patience. I'm not sure where the "final" power number will end up, but I belive that the T66 sized "Ebay T70" from Master Power will do just fine. (Should spool up reasonably quick for street use, and flow quite a bit more air than my 60-1 bolt on setup I have...

    e-manage Ultimate...Yay or nay?

You can datalog the WB output, and assign values to that output that mimic's the WB readout. (Nice info to have on your Eman screen when your tuning, you can watch what the AF's are doing across the RPM/Pull.) The E-01 and GEM does not control a WB, or do any automatic tuning with this data...

    Moroso dry sump oil pan

Yep, a copy of the Mag. Pan that IJ has from Moroso at under 250.00 would be a very nice deal for sure. (Holding about 8 quarts of oil too if possible, then I could run even MORE oil... LOL) Seriously though, I looked at the price of making a dry sump pan, and external oil pump/scavange pumps...

    maftpro is working

Well, here is the rub. The stock TCCS cut's the fuel at a hertz rate of about 1500hz. (This is the signal coming out of your Karmann meter, or AFM.) Going to the lexus unit flows about 25% more air at the same freq. because the ID of the unit is larger. Going to 25% larger injectors...

    e-manage Ultimate...Yay or nay?

I was looking through the EMU books on Mohad's site, and see nothing dealing with using the E-01 to program or use the EMU together. If the Profec E-01 can interface with the EMU, and replace the AFM going to speed density using a IAT along with the Greddy pressure sensor I have already, that...

    maftpro is working

Ok, yesterday while driving along on cruise control, at 72mph, the throttle was at 16% and about 3400rpm IIRC. (I did not write it down, but would if I was setting up a table, and should before I remove the Eman/E-01 for easy data collection.) Does the Maft Pro show RPM? (or can it?) What...

    NSX headlight conversion thread.....reborn.

The NSX lamps are nice, but do not fit without lots of mods. Those BWM lamps look nice too, but I have no idea how much they are, or if they are as wide as our sealed beam housings? (IF they are too wide, your looking at shaving the hood now to make them fit... Good luck.) Mythbusters are...

    AEM and COP?

At 20psi the stock coils work fine with a plug gap of .28 LOL No misfire that I can hear or see on the dyno graphs. So even stock wastefire with long plug wires etc. work fine. If there was misfire, I'd just close up the gap to .25 or where ever it would stop misfireing. (I've pulled 25 a...

    AEM and COP?

Well, no more plug wires with COP. and because of that, all the coil energy is routed directly to the spark plug every time over the life of the plug and coil assembly. Some of these COP's are nice and small too, so fitting them into the 7M is not too hard either. (So it free's up space where...

    Re-nitriding the crank, grinding

Another option is hard chrome. Check out Crankshaftspecialist.com Nice guys in Nashville, TN. They hard chromed my journals when the stroker crank they built me "twisted" under extreme detonation caused by the dumbass shop mechanic that did not hook up my AFPR to a vac source, and did not...

    Alternatively fueled supras

Actually, on Maft-Pro, you should just be able to change AF needs, and let your WB do the tune based on what fuel your running right? (The stock NB would be screwed, but most WB setups give you the right range for either fuel, you just need to know what AF to run for no load, medium load and WOT...

    e-manage Ultimate...Yay or nay?

I stopped being interested in the GEMU when I found out my E-01 would no longer interface with it. (I have the blue GEM and E-01, and it works, but I'd like to get rid of the AFM, and have the ability to "auto tune" based on AF's which I think is a much better way to go than fooling with +/-...

I'm interested in "Front" only pricing too. If we can get the front only, I'd like a set in the Berber carpet, Black in color with a RED MK3 emblem/nameplate stitched into it. (Also is there an option of getting red serged edges... ?) So black carpet mat, with red logo and trim... For an...
