    OEM paint clearcoat or not?

This may be a really stupid question but I searched around and didn't find the answer. I have a 92 super red (3e5) car and was wondering if it has a clear coat. I think I have read that it is a single stage paint with clear mixed in but I am looking for some confirmation that this is true. If...

    1000hp 7MGTE

The 2JZ is still easier. No head gasket worries (OEM is fine), No oiling worries (OEM is fine), no need for studs (OEM is fine). Fact is there are many 600-800whp 2jzs running un-opened OEM long blocks. The engine IS better. Heck just look at the number of BPU powered cars running 400-500...

Grim - I actually work there ( at least for the time being) I found this discount code which should be for 5%. Just enter it in the "how you heard about us" line of your order. 12A1C3279BDC. I purchased moog front ball joints in May and they were top notch! Good Luck :)

Do you believe the Supra (MK3) will become a collectors car over time?

I have seen pristine MK3's with no modifications go for 15k plus (thing is most are in shit condition...) I forsee the nice ones being collectors items. I think most of you think there are more A70's then there actually are. MA70 Feb. 1985 (pre-production) - Jan 1993 = 162,455 units...

    new tie rods or no?

Here, save a few hundred dollars. I would recommend Moog - great parts and a lifetime warranty. I believe you want the inner tie-rods from your description. http://www.rockauto.com/catalogtest/x,carcode,1278570,parttype,7428,partGroup,26

    mk4 burn out

I dont think its a good idea to hold a car on a limiter like that but I do occasionally bump mine doing donuts/burnouts/spirited driving (it does sound good :)) The reverse drops are pretty stupid though, I could see a J turn, but why go backwards and do a burnout when your in a car that can do...

Best Bang For My Buck Spark Plugs

I run the Denso IQ20 which can be purchased at www.rockauto.com for the low price of $8 per plug. i also could not be happier with the performance and this is with a DDP, straight pipe exhaust and about 10 Psi from the stock turbo. the Denso iridiums are the best plugs out there with NGK's...

Fuel. Dual Walbro or Aeromotive a1000 external?

For the people concerned with noise aren't dual or triple MKIV Denso pumps an option? I know a lot of the 2jz guys run this setup when they don't the worrys of poor Walboro reliability and I am pretty sure I have read these pumps are quiet compared to the walboros.

HKS SSQV BOV kit "Rubber Caps"

haha, I know I was just wondering if anyone knew where you could pick them up. I am very happy with the BOV thanks again. The packing list from HKS does say 2x the 20mm rubber caps. either way I was just interested in knowing if people knew of a good place to pick them up from. Thanks...

HKS SSQV BOV kit "Rubber Caps"

Guys, I just purchased a used HKS SSQV kit and didn't receive the caps for the 3000 pipe and accordion tube. Does anyone know the best place to source these caps? I know they are just 20 mm rubber caps but I cant seem to find generic ones on line. If anyone has a SSQV kit and didn't use...

Tire sizes/spacers for MK4 TT wheels

ok, so from what I have seen the rears are fine without a spacer, and the fronts could use a small spacer. Please keep the pics coming, from what I have seen 255/275 doesn't look goofy on the wheels (tires too wide for the wheels) so i will probably go with that for tire sizes. Still unsure...

Tire sizes/spacers for MK4 TT wheels

I knew you didn't need it, but I know +50 isn't the best fitment with a 8" wheel up front. Really I am just looking for pictures of different tire setups with or without spacers to see what i think looks the best and obviously doesn't rub. Thanks for the help!

Tire sizes/spacers for MK4 TT wheels

Guys, I just went through every page of the wheel and tire thread and didn't find anything on this. I was wondering if I can get some people to post up some pictures of different tire sizes on the mk4 TT wheels installed on MK3's. I want to go 255/275 but want to see what the tires look...

    Thinking about goin CARB!!

oops, you caught me :), I didn't mean to compare the race fuel price to ethanol (I know the ethanol is still way cheaper). I was trying to say it would be the same price as pump fuel.
