As the title states, I'm trying to figure out the resistance of the injectors. I was wondering if anyone knew what setting I should use for testing. It has options for rx1, rx10, and rx100. The different settings all give me different results. Does anyone know which I should use?
Aaron, in the ECU pinout you mention unpluging the fuel pump resistor (the one that give the FP 9 volts on the stock ecu). Is that accurate? I never had any problems with my fuel pump wiring in the past. by chance did you mean bypass the fuel pump resistor? Just unplugging it will leave an open...

This is without any ECU connected at all. Does the cut off relay look for the CPS output or does the ECU? It seems to me since it's permanently grounded that this should be done by the relay, correct?
BTW: I swear I'm not stupid, just stumped.
I jumpered the two wires in the harness as your pinout said, and that seems to be working great. The problem is the FC is carrying 12v's for some reason? I unooked the E01 and E02 to make certain that thats where the 12v's were comming from. Am I missing something, because I thought the FC was...
I'd definately do the 12v mod, it will make tuning easier as well. If you cut the yellow wire to the FP relay, it takes care of it. From there you can remove the FP resistor pack.
I did it the old way of jumpering the wires to the resistor, but the wires were burnt up, leaving me stranded...
I see, thats what I thought at first. Something's wrong because I'm getting 12V's through my E01 and E02 to any chassi ground. When I ground E01 or E02 my FP is comming on. This is without the stinger pluged in. I know its going to be something stupid. lol.
