just to through it out there i cut open my old ic from my crashed car a while ago to see how they design the stocker. check it out. fins aren't that dense on the outside but look how dense they are inside of it.
where's the inblock cam on the 7m?
just giving you some shit.
and btw you have to start somewhere. so feeling like you don't know shit is normal. i remember rebuilding my old 2000 yamaha blaster back in the day. i was so scared i was going to fuck it up. i had it bored over .40...
:werd:
its endless as far as the "right way" being that its just some dudes opinion and he isn't the one paying for it.
i don't get where people think that a mhg it the only option for a 7m. actually i find it funny how some will swear by it yet they have never even ran a new stocker or...
snow? winter storage? whats that? LOL.
my supra is my dd year around. just was at the autocross yesterday too. had some decent times. and drifting through the figure eight without hitting a cone is always fun. :biglaugh:
no. it only goes to 8psi. how would i know i'm running anything higher? i have a aftermarket gauge ghetto rigged on my steering column. i need a gauge pod bad. i don't want to ghetto rig my aem gauges with tape like the cheap one. lol.
the only reason i would ever use electric fans would be because of space. THATS IT. that is the only area where the electric fans are more beneficial. other than that when comparing the two as far as performance, reliability, and simplicity there is no comparison. i feel its as simple as that.
with mine i will hit maybe 8 or 9psi in 1st then in 5th i hit fuel cut at about 12-13psi. because of the different amount of load in 1st compared to 5th i don't think you can ever have it hit desired boost in 1st. i could be wrong. last night on my way home this guy in this mustang gt pull up...
maybe for a race car being that it gets inspected and repaired every race. for a street car its pointless. the drag that the water pump puts on the motor is nothing. maybe 1/8 hp. then the reliability issue. belt driven water pumps have proven themselves on thousands of cars. electric ones...
^yeah. burgundy and tan interior isn't the most pleasent combo. painting the dash should work and look good. you can't really see it but i painted the pannel with the hood latch on it black for a twist to my interior since i have a extra and i really like it. the paint hasn't flaked yet either...
so no one knows the ture history of the tan interior? i'm pretty sure i'm right about how it only came with a black or brown supra, but as far as the years go i have no clue. i don't think after '89 they offered it since i have never seen one 90+ supra with it. i look at sf craigslist often to...
i wanted to have some recent pics of my interior so i waited to post. here they are. plus a couple others. i think you could only get it with a black or brown '89. at first it wasn't my favorite color of interior, but after a while it grows on you. i have always thought that a red supra with tan...
^nah not champion. that might run you 30-50 bucks. on friday i just got my hub, syncros, tons of snaprings, and a couple bearings for my tranny. all from champion. it took a while because most of those where a special order. the fun will start tuesday when i can go to my friends house to use his...
