I actually live in Troy. Not to far from you. The paint is dupli-color engine paint gloss black out of a spray can. If you prep it well and clear coat it good it doesn't turn out that bad at all.

Its up to you. You could run 235/45 or 245/45 up front 265/40 or 275/40 in the rear. I run 245/45 up front and 275/40 in the rear on Mk4 TT wheels 17x8 and 17x9.5.
