    Flateric's, Rocket Red Road Sled!

Looks really nice Gord. You did a good job. I know the polishing woahs all too well, and boy do they suck. Although the payoff is well worth it. Looking at the old pics of the parts before I polished them and the after pics the difference looks 100x better.

What to use to protect wiring going through firewall?

Cool, that answers my question and for free too. Thanks all for the help.

    Dual or single tip muffler

That would be Bozoku, a Japanese sport that is all about creating the most rediculously oversized parts (like the 8 muffler tips that go 8 feet up, or the foot wide fender flares).

What to use to protect wiring going through firewall?

Too bulky. I will be feeding the connectors through 1 at a time, and nothing else will be going through the hole besides the harness (unlike the stock harness rubber grommet boot). Maybe use split loom around the inside of the hole?

What to use to protect wiring going through firewall?

I'm doing a wiring tuck and want to drill a hole in my firewall somewhere behind my intake manifold to put my engine harness through. I will be wrapping the harness in high temp split loom wrap and electrical tape, but I need to know of there is any additional protection I should use to protect...

My buddy Jackie (Evolution) is hooking me up on a used fuel rail for a really good price. Hopefully I should have it sometime next week.

    1jz Mods

You'll best maybe 350 RWHP on the stock twins safely. I bested 327 RWHP on mine at 14 PSI. My mods were FMIC with 2.5" hard pipes, turbo-back 3" exhaust, CAI, JDM 2J 440's, machined USDM 2J cams, 1-piece aluminum driveshaft, Walbro 255 LPH fuel pump, Aeromotive FPR w/ fuel dampener bypass, and...

    Cheap bastard awards....

All my friends always get atleast a good meal out of helping me. For those who don't live close, I give gas money too.

    Cheap bastard awards....

Yessir! Speaking of which if you need any hardware I just organized my collection by size and type :naughty: Know of anyone local that needs a new pair of valve cover gaskets? I have a pair hanging on my wall. If people need help, I'll help them. But if they blatently just ask for...

    1981 KP61 Starlet 2JZGTE build

Very very nice project bro. Did you extend the rear quarter widening to include the gas door so that it looks stock (and a lot better)? Pics? Are you going to do a wiring tuck in the engine bay so that there's as little clutter as possible?

    Cheap bastard awards....

My feelings exactly. I'm all about helping people when they need it, but this guy doesn't need the help, he's just too cheap and lazy to go to the dealership and buy one himself. Hell, I gave a buddy of mine 11 JZ valve bucket shims because I knew he'd find a use for them and expected nothing...

    I told you so

Time to buy another shell. It'll be a damn site cheaper and easier to swap everything over than to repair the damage since the rear 1/4 panel is a royal PITA to replace and the front end damage sounds like the repairs would be extensive.

    Cheap bastard awards....

mattsplat, I like your thinking. Seriously, I've sold parts to people who needed them for the cost of shipping and nothing more or if they're local I've delivered them for the cost of a friendly conversation. BTW, thanks again Matt for hooking me up with the 2 connectors.

Just ordered my GM MAP sensor new from Ebay and Aaron refunded my money for my fuel rail, so Monday I should be ordering my new rail from Big Daddy Performance.

    New Years Resolution Thread

Finish up my Associates in Business. I also want to pay off as much debt as possible and spend less money on the Supra this year and also actually enjoy it. That means finish up installing my new flushmount setup, get my Supra running and tuned, and get the ARZ rear BBK kit for the rear so my...

    Painted or Unpainted Moldings?

LOL, soo true. And we all know the MKIII is a very fat car.

    Dual or single tip muffler

For you I'd go with the BIC Stealth exhaust system with the dual tip muffler. Stealth can be a very good thing, especially in states like yours.

Plenty of supras, not enough time...

Welcome bro. Pics of your collection? You remind me of myself a couple years ago. I went from having 1 MKIII with a 1J to 2 MKIII's with 1J's and a shell.
