"How much supra can you put into a truck?" build

BTW, the traction arm reinforcing I did was because Flateric did it first and told me about it. He says it works great, even with 500 RWHP. Just be sure to get new poly bushings.

hi new to the site pics enclosed

Welcome. Just think of the Supra as Japanese muscle. It's a damn strong platform and can be built to the nices easily (well, with a lot of money to go with it that is, lol).

LOL Ian. With as much as you've spent with them, I'd sure hope they atleast gave you a bulk discount or something of that nature. From what I've read about the V88, it really is a well designed unit, mind you I don't know what most of those features do lol. Matt, I'm sure you can, you just...

You can always have the MKIV TT rims widened so they still retain the look. With the lack of weight in the rear, you're going to need some serious beefy tires. You could always run the TT rims with 285's in the rear, and just swap them out for slicks when you go to the track. Look in my build...

Big news, I finally picked up my ViPEC V88 and harness today (530 miles round trip). Next step, I have to wire in my wideband and a 12v source to it, and figure out how to mount it. Please excuse the shitty pics, my regular camera needs batteries right now.

Very nice. Are you going to modify the rear fenders so you can fit really wide tires under the fenders (since you'll have very little weight on them), say 315's??? I love your ambition, and the work done so far seems pretty awesome. Definitely subscribed.

yes, 45 is the offset. Meaning those have an offset of +45. Tom below explained the GBM since I forgot that that was code for the finish.

    Tires?

Gaboon is right, the decent tires start at $175 each. Mine were in the $205-220 each range. If you can increase your budget, I'd recommend Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3's, Toyo T1R's, and Toyo R1R's. I run the first two currently.

    I need Wheels

Discounttiredirect.com allows you to search by wheel size. Just click on the Wheels option and then select your size. As for getting your wheels across the border, why not put the new wheels on before you cross? Since you have sawblades, just tell the border patrol you got them for free for...

    Rotors to get me by...

Just go with stock for now, since there won't be much of a difference until you upgrade to a BBK. For pads, just get yourself some decent pads, those'll be the only thing that'll really make any difference.

    Pike's Peak

LOL. I'd drive that road but at nowhere near as fast of speeds as the people that race up it. I have issues with heights, especially edges.
