I used M6x1x30mm bolts from Lowes and put to washers on each bolt along with the washer and grommet seemed to work pretty good and i didn't have to wait on shipping (Always a bonus for me)

That's what...
So after the car has been off all night i go out there and start not realizing i had jumped T1/E1 for codes and forgot to take out the wire. but the car started right up revved up normal but i noticed the check engine light blinking so i went out to check codes and saw the wire still there lol...
I've had problems with my CPS recently and yea ive wiggled the crap out of them. the car is starting and idle's just fine but when i press the gas it stall to 500 and back up to 650 and repeats till i let off the gas..
i'm about to go back out since i just got home and see if i can find...
So i did my valve cover gaskets today and when i was done i went to start the car it immediately started went to 1100 and droped to idle 650-700 for about half a sec and died it did this quite a few times.
So i kept looking and couldn't find anything still can't :(
So the car now starts and...
CEL comes on but there's no codes stored...
CEL coming on when you come to complete stop and turning off as soon as you start driving again is a problem i had when my TPS started going.. CODE 41
Should have put this inn the build threads section but looks like ya got some work ahead of you good luck! Make sure your committed cause as we have all seen people give up in the past.
Welcome to SM
So at Lowes i could only find M6x1 30mm think they will work? just use some washers and the grommets
Also i found some nylon Drain plug washers but had no idea what size they needed to be any clues on that?
I can't drive my car in the rain anyways....
Last Saturday i ended up using a straw to suck out all of the water out of the 1-2 spark plug galley :( needless to say i wasn't smart and in a hurry and burned my mouth pretty good lol

Ok so i find myself replacing these stupid valve cover gaskets way to often and quite frankly i'm tired of it lol.
So i bought new hardware from Toyota and #1-2 gaskets this time around but not sure what i should do about the #3 head cover and the 6 bolts?
I remember seeing something about...
