Got pistons and bearings (NPR Pistons and Rings, King Bearings):
Teflon Coated:
Not sure what this cage is inside the piston but I know my stock pistons did not have them:
IJ any idea what that is, just re-enforcement so the pistons don't do what my #6 did?
Thanks,
Seth
Hey Sean thanks,
It is going to be a bit slow but finishing some manifolds this weekend then I am all over this thing! Should get the motor back end of the week first of next!
Thanks,
Seth
Little behind the curve on this one.....but if the car is back together I should be there! Get the motor back from machine shop probably end of next week and then its on! Still need to collect a few parts but getting there!
Thanks,
Seth
Wait I missed where I put anything about dog food in my post. Seriously search for the K2 information and I said in some cases they have bette quality control NOT all the time. I have never had a problem with chinesse stuff but I also pay attention to what I buy.
Seth
gofastgeorge^^^^ You may wanna do some research on quality control. In know in the past there have been several large American companies who moved their production overseas and had a much great quality control with less returned products, namely K2 Skis. No joke I beleive they had something...
Great news from the engine shop, STD everything, only .002" wear in the cylinders and virtually no wear in the crank! So just ordered pistons, and bearings!
Also got my Divorced DP the other day, looks like good quality but we will see! I will only be running the CT for break in a some fun...
All runners are identical. All cut from the same piece of tube, the hundo is for better flow for sure...lol
Price range: It is forsale in the forsale section. It is a one-off, one of a kind, only one to be made so there really isn't a price range, just this one!
Thanks,
Seth
No Core manifold. You would simply bolt it in in place of the upper runners. It bolts directly to the lower runners. There honestly isn't much difference between in flow characteristics it is just a difference in design and being able to bolt it in!
Thanks,
Seth
Just thought I would share some pictures of a completely custom one-off bolt-in Front Facing Intake Manifold I built. I was attempting to rid the hassle of shipping cores back and forth and yet still retain A/C. Manifold does not quite clear the alternator with my brackets therefore it does...
Hey Joe,
I have been building them for a while. The log design works fine. Here are a few pics of ones I have built:
Alternator is simply lowered therefore you can retain A/C for the Miami heat!
And a few others:
One thing you always have to remember is it is turbo'd...
MS harness is just sheilded in a generic cheap plastic wrap. Nothing like a millspeed connector harness or anything. I have the MS harness for my MS system and it is good wire but nothing really special. Basically you will be using the colors more then the labels for running it. Get the MS...
Hey for your wide band issues do you have it grounded through an isolator? Any change in voltage to the wideband or feed back through a ground will make it change, I.E. braking tail lights come on...ect Try turning the headlights on and see if the same thing happens.
But none the less good...
Cheap Carbon wrapped N1 style muffler. Nothing special. I am running the extra resinator to keep the car a bit quiter and sleaker. Muffler looks decent so I will see how it sounds!

Shoot I cring at some of the Stupid stuff I did to my 87' 17-18-19 years old (still have it). I am totally self taught but have learned a ton from the forums and people like IJ. I have read way to many threads over the years but just a little searching brings so much information. I do see a...
