Though many say that, ive been running a DDP at all types of boost levels and NEVER had a problem... I love my DDP, sounds like hell underneath your car.... People dont like to race you though when they hear that...

That filter will get clogged with excess oil. Causing the blowby on the rings, and many other bad things. Take it off now.

Chances are is you wont get t off by yourself without damaging it, there pretty heavy and akward to lift off the block. Supra owners on this site are extremley helpful, and im SURE you could find someone around you to help you out.
