Find a new trans and swap it yourself. Its not that difficult, ive done it in an automatic integra and 2 accords. they only weight like 120 lbs so you and a buddy should be able to throw it on w/o a trans jack, drain the fluid b4 you do it, makes it lighter.

I'm not sure on that, im not overly familiar with 1jz's however your engine have some type of airflow meter if not a MAF otherwise you wouldnt have an airflow meter code. My guess is whatever type of airflow meter you are using is maxing out.
Do you have an aftermarketboost gauge? if so watch what it does. my guess is your overboosting. it overboosts tripping the turbo pressure signal. also because its boosting so much, its sucking in more air than your MAF can measure. causing maf signal. also because this extra air isnt...

that large black area that the spring is sitting on is actually a second spring, its called a helper spring. its lighter duty and is designed to soften the ride characteristics, its not supposed to be compressed like that. the unpainted area is threaded, thats waht makes them adjustable
