was just browsing ebay and saw these used JDM used Cusco coilovers

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/JDM-...id=p4506.c0.m245&_trkparms=65:3|39:1|240:1318

im looking at the spring perch cuz it looks strange then i realize why, the helper spring is completely crushed down. Either the guy that had these before was using them as a lift kit or they have just been beaten to death. I dont know how the seller can consider them good condition...im not buyin them lol

I don't have coilovers but aren't they adjustable ? Is that the are where the paint is missing ?

that large black area that the spring is sitting on is actually a second spring, its called a helper spring. its lighter duty and is designed to soften the ride characteristics, its not supposed to be compressed like that. the unpainted area is threaded, thats waht makes them adjustable

dont waste your money on those. Used coilovers that look like that with unknown mileage for 500 bills. Probably blown too.

Dish out the extra $$$ for a new set.

There not $500, there 500+250 for shipping:aigo:. So 750 for used coilovers that look beat to shit. Might as well spend the extra 300 or so for a brand new set.
