That was actually my plan, but then I thought "how much is my time worth" and I sucked it up and dropped the money for NA-T off the get-go. No regrets.. now I have 500+ RWHP and it cost less than a stock 2JZGTE swap.
I put one about 6-12" behind the center console, and I had the other two mounted up against where the backrests of the back seats would be.. you'll notice there is a weird little dimple there on each side. Thats where I mounted the other two brackets.
I'll take some pics later.. whenever I...
haha! Thanks man!
The tripod mount is super easy.. I just welded these lil' brackets into the floor of the supra.. the lil "foot" on the end screws into the "leg" of the tripod so I can squeeze it onto the brackett. Realllly simple but it mounts it securely :)
I think Jay's right Ian, you...
Thanks guys, and yes I'm running 25 PSI on pump + a ton of meth. My timing is still very conservative so I think I'm alright..
I'm making my own det can out of a digital stethoscope so I can listen for detonation and get a better timing curve.
There are a lot more videos comming soon...
I've got a few requests of videos of my car, so I finally welded up a couple brackets so I could stick my tripod where my back seats used to go.
These are just a couple clips of my car.. really nothing special.

Sorry about the low quality...
Right guys, every setup is different but I've personally made logs of the difference in spool time with more agressive timing. I made 10PSI 600 RPM sooner.
Once again.. going in a different direction.
Post your ignition map off your MBE EMS Standalone. Your ignition timing in vac. being too conservative will cause dreadfully flow boost response.
By adding a few degrees in vac. on a very conservative map gave me 600RPM sooner spool on a .68...
Thanks for all the input guys.
For those of you worried about me running too much timing. It's not going to happen. Today I added a lot of timing in vac.. I ended up hitting 10psi 600RPM's sooner. The car is much more responsive. Remember that I'm working off the Stinger's universal base...
Dude, in that pic you don't have the AFM in front of the TB... please tell me you wern't trying to start the motor without it.. LOL.
Thats how it knows how much air is entering the engine and where to compensate.
about the vac lines.. you should be fine as long as you capped them at their...
Thanks!
I've also decided I need more timing in the bottom end to help spool the turbo. This is way to laggy for a .68 hotside on a 3L. I'm hoping that will help me get better numbers as well.
