i can't count how many people have pointed at the intake mani and told there friend that it was the turbo.they read twin turbo on the valve cover, but never notice there's just one big one.they all no what a bov is though.they just don't realize turbo car's come with them stock and they do...
i was looking at the strydher one on e-bay.the runner's un-bolt from the surge tank, might make it easier to modify.i've also read that the early 4 runner brake booster could be used for some clearance.i've been looking at the different choice's also.
i used this spark plug boot remover(red handle plier looking thing) to pull the seal's off the guide.it take's about a second each one and no accidental damage to a guide.
i had bought one for my car and the quality seemed nice.i ended up buying a twin plate before i used it.i sold it to someone local that has it bolted to a 1j.he's been driving his car for a couple of month's now,but not sure how many mile's.his name is trevor (mischief7m),shoot him a pm
will replacment part's be easy to source later, not like i put alot of mile's on my car anyway's:).i know you've been on the forum's awhile, but you never know.good people have left us in the past:(
i use eastwood's powder,so they might be different then what you use.all there silver and reflective chrome has to be top coated with clear.they also make a single stage which cost more and doesn't seem to go on as nice
do you have any idea how that purple match the hks stuff, look's like it...
