yeah the color combo is sorta rare but not my cup of tea either. i got the car for parts/to part out so check out my thread in the FS section. its not worth fixing cause it has serious body damage on the passenger side.....
so my buddy that owns a shop got a call about a supra somebody wanted to get rid of right away cause they were moving. he wasnt interested in dealing with it so i swooped it up. it was at this little ghetto shop. when i first checked it out i was like well does in run? the guy was like yeah but...
things are definitely way slower than when i first joined and the years following that. there used to be so much going on constantly in all the sections general, tech, build, for sale, ect.....but im sure it has a lot to do with the down fall in the economy. building and modifying cars is not...
i ran my hx35 na-t 2jz on 440s for a couple months before putting in 550s. i think it hit fuel cut at 7-8 psi. that was fuel cut with the screw removed on the stock afm though. get a wideband, afpr, and take the screw out of the afm. then turn boost up to were its just under fuelcut and get your...
my fp is at 45 plus 17-18psi of boost so thats 62-63psi of fp under boost. idk what the limit is on fp but thats what mine is at and it pulls really nice!
possibly yes you should be hitting fuelcut with how you have things now. mainly because of your afc settings. by adding fuel you're going to make fuel cut come on earlier. you are pretty rich anyway so id try to tune it to where the afc setting are close to 0. use your afpr to get it where you...
heres how i did mine for my ffim for my na-t 2jz. i have a 7m tb on its side with the stock cable cut and the cruise control cable crimped on to in. i made a little piece of aluminum where the stock cable adjuster sits. works really good. its nice cause the way it opens with it on its side...
ok cool so im pretty sure we have the same model so our exhaust housings are the same. so i should expect somewhat similar spool to yours when its tuned! will be watch this one for updates :D
I meant on the part where your intercooler piping go to. It could help determine what exhaust housing you have. I'm considering doing the upgrade on mine but would like to keep the quick spool. Trying to see if we have the same model of hx35. I can't wait to see the results when it's tuned and...
^nice! did your compressor housing have a v-band on the outlet or just a normal flange for a coupler? cause i know the later model ones have the v-band and the wg actuator also bolts to the compressor housing. also just fyi i ported the exhaust housing inlet on mine to where the imprint of the...

well i had some time to kill so ill play too
first is my combo of black/tan interior and the condition of it. i swapped every single piece even the headliner from my old 89t black/tan that was an amazingly clean car and my dumb young ass had to total it. but at least part of it lives on...
when breaking in a motor the main thing is you don't want to spin it to high for like the first 500 for the bearing to breakin and cause all the shit in the oil from the rings imo. getting into boost is good so is hard engine breaking to seat the rings well. and can't really tell if thats good...
thanks! my motor has a new temp sensor on it so im thinking the gauge in the cluster itself broke but haven't bothered to fix it yet. and yes i have a aftermarket gauge. also its on a na-t 2jz ;)
Was doing a little street tuning and made a video of a pull. I guess mine doesnt really hit till 4000 in the lower gears. but if im in 4th or 5th in spools earlier cause all the load. That's at 17psi with 255/40/17 re11a's air down to like 30psi. These tires have great grip and hook really well...
haha yeah idk about all that.....im just gonna leave it how it is. sure it will be fine. starting to think that heat wrapping the line is going to make it to it can't radiate heat off trapping heat in that part of the hose and hose end. that was more of where i was going with my question. not...
