oh, and the smoke will only happen after an hour or more of sitting. I saw alot about valve stem seals but where do I go from here. I cant check those out unless I pull the head. My motor has 130,000 on it.
Thats the way I feel about this car.
Ok, I'm getting blue smoke on start up and lasts only until it warms up. I did a compression test and it basicly read 145 all the way across. I looked in the spark plug holes with a flash light and saw nothing "wet" on top on the pistons. I just put in...
The turbo seals are inside the turbo. The oil on the intake side of the turbo is from your crank case. Conclusion: The oil on the intake side is normal but should be cleaned. If you get an oil catch can you wont have any oil on the intake side.
I just upgraded my turbo to a 57 trim ct26 from a stock ct26. I just went out to tried to hit boost and it kind of studders at high boost. Do I need to reset the E01's gain/start/set? Do I need to reset the emanage totaly? Also, do I need to reset the ecu? Anything else I missed?
So this is probably a garbage bov. What is a direct replacement? Its a round fitting with a snap ring holding it in. I'm not sure if the different bov's have different fittings for the pipe or not.
Alright, got it to work right. It is a recirculating bov. Can anyone tell me what bov this is and help me with my problem. Also, what is a dircet replacement for this? Its a round fitting with a snap ring holding it in.
I would like a quiet bov. Can anyone recommend one? Thanks
