Why not? There is a blue car in this thread running an 18x10 with a decent sized tire on it. His car is lowered but the tire is not tucked into the fender. Unless we know the expected ride height, its hard to say for certain if you will get away with it.
If I wasn't at school I would be in on this. I suggest Midfield as the competition track. My favourite track by far. Laguna is just a pain in the ass the rip off really consistent, balls out laps.
Well you say that it can't happen, but if one was pushing it, they would probably be taking full advantage of the additional braking from down shifting. The wheels wouldn't even have to lock up to upset the balance of the car. I'm just looking for a setup that would allow me to push the car as...
So if I wasn't interested in drifting (and I mean not even in the slightest), what would be the best choice? I plan to do road course and auto slalom events and I recognize that after 230,xxx km, my stock LSD is in need of replacement.
It sounds like the 2-way is solely for drifting and...
I would suggest boxing in the bumper support. Don't use thin material for this job. Buy some thicker plate and do it properly. Safety is not the place to go cheap.
With good tuning you could make 400 rwhp. Not everyone with a 57 is able to, but it has been shown to be possible.
I would recommend the 57 trim. It would make the car more fun in the mean time while you accumulate funds for the JZ swap.
A 9" rim will fit a 265 comfortably and a 275 with some bulge. It all comes down to how much power you are making and how sticky of a tire you would run. Those offsets are very close to mine. The fronts are 5mm further in so you would have no issues running 245's up front and ~265 out back...
That is not so bad. Looks good under the hood as far as I can tell. Unbolt the wing, skirts, bumpers, trade the wheels for stockers, do the same with the hood and repaint it.
Oh....and shoot the owner.
