5-30 is fine but 0-30 is better for cold starts....both oils act as a 30w at op temps...but 0-30 is a bit thinner at room temp which means it flows better cold than 5-30...either way both oils are fine just don't get some heavy 20-50 (although it will increase pressure it will minimize flow...
At 3000 rpm you should see 40psi on a stock system! On idle you should see 10-20 psi....all these are with a hot engine ofcourse...
I do indeed think there is a problem but it's obviously not a leak as you're not using oil....this leads me too believe that either the old oil pump was reused...
Pistons have ZERO relation too oil pressure!
When you say "sits at 35 psi" at what rpm? What rpm are you seeing 25psi? What psi do you see at 3000rpm? What oil are you using? What oil filter are you using? When was your last oil change? What's your oil pressure at idle?
Oil pressure...
Says the guy with two bhg's and gave up and sold the supra...
You absolutly do not want to baby the car...get those rings too seat good and hard asap! Stay away from constant throttle (you want to vary engine rpms constantly)...do high vacume pulls (highway speed then downshift and keep rpms...
No they have to touch the metal housing you put the bulbs in....I just have too keep retightening the screws....
But this isn't your problem....your problem is elsewhere....
How are the grounds in the bulb housings? Those tend to get hot a melt and lose contact...
This car never gave problems like this before? So it a new development?
Cause you suck at explaining problems! Now we know you mean the 3rd brake light!
As far as why your headlights and dash turn on when pressing the brake I seriously have no damn idea! That sir is really strange!
