HKS exhaust

So I think I've chosen an exhaust upgrade from the stock pos. Right now I have an na '88 but I plan on going turbo in the future. I've chosen the HKS Silent Hi-Power exhaust system as seen here:

http://www.horsepowerfreaks.com/sale/HKS/Exhaust/Exhaust_Systems/part/Silent_Hi-Power

Such a nice looking system and I hear the exhaust note is bearable over extended periods of time. But I have a couple questions:

What is the difference, if any, between a Hi-Power system and a Silent Hi-Power system? I couldnt even find the Silent Hi-Power system on the HKS website. If they differ, do they both have the same flow rates or exhaust tone? Does it drone at highway speeds? Would a HKS Silent Hi-Power exhaust system be adequate for 400-500hp?

The silent hi-power is a whole system, not just a cat-back right? If it is a whole system, is it street-legal or do I have to get a cat too?

Would any of you have any alternate suggestions of systems that dont drone and have high flow rates for a turbo engine in the future?

Thanks

That sure is a gorgeous exhaust. I had alwasy wanted one myself, and the size of the piping is excellent also. It's not just a muffler, it's cat-back; so you attach it to your catalytic converter. I'd get a new cat if I did the exhaust myself, as when I installed my old hks dragger I left the stock cat on and ended up replacing it a few weeks later anyway, so it's just easier to do it all at once.

a local here in the dfw area had the hipower muffler (might have been the catback) and it sounded pretty good. a little on the loud side but good. worth every penny

You can hear a sound clip of it on takakaira.com and it sounds exactly like what I would want an exhaust to sound like. BTW I bought my cat from suprastore, it was their highflow cat, probably from some generic exhaut store. Very good quality tho, and less than $200. Another btw, my super dragger cost me $1100 canadian including all the shipping, so $700 us isn't bad in my eyes for a precision assembled piece such as what you'd get with this hks unit.

Hm, what about a Blitz nurspec R? They can be had for ~$550.

Are these relatively quiet? Do they drone w/ the silencer on? How wide is the piping? Doesnt say on hpf...Anyone have a sound clip of one on a supra? All I can find is a sound clip from a lexus sc300 w/ dualli nurspecs (which sounds very nice).
