Road America Track day - 92 Supra Turbo !IN CAR ADDED!

Well they definitely did fade in my first session. I could not get all the air bled out during our 2 hour lunch break so I am unsure about what to actually say. My pedal normally moves about .5" and then feels solid but after the first session it was just 3" of mush. With that said I was...

Well the track day at Road America went very good today. Fastest lap was a 2:53 of the few that I had timed ( I will have to check the in car cameras to see if there were any faster ones). The car hits 130 down the front straight and 125 into 5 and Canada corner. I am going to have to go to...

    target air fuel ratio

Target AFR is going to depend on quite a lot of things. Target afr will always be 14.7 at idle, and cruise - constant speed, as well as acceleration up to a set point that the ECU deems it neccasary to no longer used closed loop control (o2 sensor feedback) and it begins to use the open loop...

The install went really smoothly and was actually quite a bit easier than I had expected. I did not take pictures unfortunately (DOH!) but I still have the lexus pumpkin here with the LSD from the MK3 installed in it and I can take it apart and get pictures of anything someone would like to see...

    New Torsen for the MK3?

The Pumpkins are not the same so you will need to swap the carriers. The lexus uses different mounting points on its pumpkin.

    New Torsen for the MK3?

Lexus T2 torsen installed today and boy do I like it :). Few notes, it appears that the ring and pinions are EXACTLY the same between the two pumpkins (is300 and mk3), and I could not find a single difference. I still used the MK3 ring and pinion since I knew that it did not make any odd...

Just installed my Lexus IS300 T2 torsen today and it is AWESOME. So much better than the LSD imo, even when it worked great when I bought the car. Now the car is fully prepared for my April 18th track day.

DECELERATION - Clutch ENGAGED or NOT?

Its really quite easy, I think our pedals are placed quite well for the heal toe down shift (My Honda CRX SI and Nissan Maxima 5 spd were terrible, my Audi also has good pedal placement). Heel toe is still kind of a misnomer, its more like left side ball of your foot and the right side middle...

DECELERATION - Clutch ENGAGED or NOT?

Yep this is spot on, the car pulls fuel when decelerating above 1500 rpm. On my car Fuel does not come back on line until 1200 rpm, but if you let off throttle between 1200 and 1500 it will not pull fuel and the exhaust will make a popping/gurgling noise while coasting down when this is...
