So if i wanted to simply run speed, and tachometer: I could "possibly" tap into the ECU signal for the RPMS and i could run my own speed sensor for speed? This doesnt sound bad, and for the deal im getting, ill give it a shot. How would i power the unit? Obviously i cant tap into any wires...

Mine used to surge, so i now use TWO vacume lines on the bov, fairly big ones too. No problems at all :)

I am not running a AEM, im on a stock turbo ECU.

Ok, picking up the tool's and required materials are no problem. How would i go abotu doing this? Would i start by tapping the wiring harness? Or would i litterally have to start from complete scratch? Figgie: I REALLY appreciate your help :)

My first guess would be the turbo. Is it smoking? Good steps to follow (which worked for me) was: Take off downpipe and inspect back of turbo for oil. Then take off the turbo and inspect the manifold for oil. If the manifold is clean, its most definatly your turbo. If not, begin...

My buddys nissan runs a 15.7 seconds in the quarter mile. My supra had a short shifter, intake and some other small things and i beat him by 5 cars at around 1320 feet. Take that as you please :) Now, my cars just a little bit faster ;)
