well, the plugs didn't match up. I no longer have that engine in my 89 and the 86.5 is at my girlfriend's brother's house for the moment... I'll see what I can do with the 92s, maybe snap a few pics of it..

my gauge used to act funky when I swapped over a JDM engine into my 89, it would rise to the top then slowly descend. When the 86.5 received it's JDM engine, the gauge wouldn't move at all. Now finally when I swapped in a JDM engine into my 92, I made sure to change the oil pressure sender and...

there's a 3rd wing offered in the US, it was a 1 piece with an LED bar for N/A's.. I've seen a few pics on here and one in person but I can't find any photos at the moment..

if it's NA, it never the 3 piece wing.. possibly the 1 piece NA sport wing, but it's doubtful.. definitely rip it off...

resistance builds boost, so if you're keeping her steady, eventually she'll stop boosting.. I noticed on my aftermarket boost gauge that I hit 4-5 psi when gassing it, as soon as I keep her steady it slowly drops to 0psi and then goes to a -20 vacuum...

JHOT and JARCO on ebay have been there for me when it comes to a bunch of JDM parts.. otherwise, members on here and sometimes random folks on ebay..

the internals are different too. I found this out the hardway when my 89s went out and I tried to use the 86.5's to get it home, only to realize it's completely different inside and the plugs are different as well...

has your car ever been swapped..? check your dimmer switch on another Supra and see if it's functional, or use another Supra's dimmer and post results..

tighten up all your subframe bolts and anything else that needs to be tightened... get new suspension bushings and all that stuff, should feel like new..

as mentioned above, no it doesn't have to be, but you DO NEED a turbo tachometer, as the NA tach will not work (it can be made to, however just need to swap out a couple of resistors)..
