Dude that CPS is not aligned right (at least by your pic) if the cam gears are on mark and the pulley on 0.. Go back and look at the pick Shaeff posted. When you install the CPS it will turn on you. Turn it more left and then insert it. It should rotate into the correct position.

I'm running the ACT HD pressure plate with street disc and have had zero problems.. Pretty much the same thought as you.. Use a street disc until I get close to the 500whp and then I just need to buy the 4 or 6 puck disk(same PP).
I bought a ACT HD pressure plate with a street disk. It is posted to hold around 400lbs tq. My next upgrade will only have to be the disk and it would then hold around 500tq.
