    Just for clarification...

What would be the easiest way to tighten up the steering on a car that's gotten progressively loose over the past few years? I had it to a point where it was very twitchy so to speak and it's gotten sloppy over time. Is there anyone on here that makes a poly bushing kit for the steering rack...

    Quick Question...

Just to be sure, I thought 1JZ's did not have Cold Start Injectors?

    Quick Question...

I brought my battery inside over the winter so it wouldn't drain as badly as if it were left in the garage but I'd have to check what it's at, it stays within the range that it was always in (this is according to my gauge on my cluster so...) but I know that it did need to have some water added...

    Rear Strut Bar - Question

Honestly I can't say if it has done anything. I have both a Cusco front and rear STB. I installed the rear properly by marking out two ovals in the panels and using a jigsaw to cut them out, then put a rubber grommet in place around it so it doesn't look so harsh. The panels don't sit the same...

    Brake pads

I've heard that it's prone to foaming or something like that from vibration after a while, but on the plus side it doesn't absorb moisture after X amount of time. I forgot to add, another thing you can get is a brake stopper (cusco makes them for our cars), basically it bolts to the strut...

    Quick Question...

Thanks IJ, I'll order the Denso replacement on monday and put it in this coming weekend. Hopefully I can get more than 400 Km's to a tank with it changed. I will let you know what happens.

    Brake pads

For street use with occaisional tracking I don't think it's necessary to dump $3000 on a big brake kit (provided you'd want to do both front and back), I was considering the same thing but for the amount that I track it's not worth it. You're best bet would be to do a full brake tune up...

    Quick Question...

It's only sometimes though, maybe 2 out of 5 starts it will give me that issue. I'll have to replace my 02 sensor then, originally I thought both might have been to my cat being clogged, but I have a test pipe in there at the moment and nothing has changed so that ruled out that one...

I'll have to call my supplier and see if he can order 234-3052 for me. That's the 2 bolt flange style with 3 wires correct?

    Quick Question...

^ It looks really old, I'm trying to contemplate if that would be the cause of my problems, or if it would be the fuel filter. I've got no smoke on startup or at anytime.

I think it has to do with some sort of valve train component rather being cold or not properly lubricated during cold start. If it goes away after a minute then it rather: 1. Became properly lubricated OR 2. Heated up Iunno, just my .02

How much gear oil needs to be ran in a R154 Transmission?

Yea, I shouldof said, if you haven't changed it yet, then you should take this time to do so. But you've got a point, it's not something that needs frequent replacing, and the more you keep taking it apart, the harder it gets to put back together. Who am I to say though, I use the pump as well lol!

How much gear oil needs to be ran in a R154 Transmission?

^ Yea however, if you pull all that out, if you've got the money, you can replace any worn out shifter bushings and what not.

    Quick Question...

Ever since bringing my car out of storage from the winter I've noticed it's hard to start sometimes. I've gone through about 6 tanks of gas since I've taken it out at the end of February so I can't think any stabo would be left in the system. Basically (does not matter whether hot or cold)...

How much gear oil needs to be ran in a R154 Transmission?

I have this page bookmarked, shows the difference between the MA70's and JZA70's + their specifications. Hope this helps :)

    The "which o2 sensor" thread

Much appreciated, I'm going to see if I can get a 1JZ one ordered from my local stealership if it's not too much. If not I'll go with the Denso. I know there's alot of confusion on which one's are the right to use and which ones have to be modded as opposed to plug and play. Hope this clears up...

Yea dude it's a common thing, I'm up in Canada and even during our summer months I will always get it on cold start up's (over night) goes away about a minute after running. I'm running German Castrol 0W-30 weight.

^ Damn that's alot =[ I may have to consider the 7M one, unless my guy at the local Yota stealership here can source me a 1JZ one for a decent price. Does anyone know the compatibility with the 2JZ ones?
