That sounds fine to me. The $800 budget isn't set in stone, it's a rough number. If I'm over $50 I'll be fine. And yeah, I'm just going to be playing a few games. The biggest thing I'll do is play something like DiRT 2 on the max settings (which it looks like this PC should be able to handle...
I only have the desktop and the laptop PC's in my house. Once I get this new computer I'll be selling my old Dell XPS slimline tower. I'm one who likes things very fast when it comes to my PC, so when I play DiRT 2 or any other game or video I'd really like my PC not to struggle or take...
Looks like the Rosewill PSU has issues and are prone to failure, and I don't like that idea. The question right now is, how big of a PSU do I really need with this setup with it being OC'd at 3.7-3.8 GHz. I'm willing to spend a little more for peace of mind. Dealing with my PC being down for...

Ok, so I just now realized that I replaced the lower timing cover this year with a brand new 2J cover and had to trim the top half about 1/2" to get it to fit. So that's the answer, it will fit if you trim the top of the cover :)
I know the 2J block is about 1/2" taller, but I also know that the upper timing cover from the 2J will fit a 1J if you trim off 1/2" off the bottom. I'm thinking it will fit, but I just need confirmation (mainly for the bolt pattern since I can trim it if it's too tall).
