Its a long story, but in the end the dealer put the car back together and then I drove back home 16 hours away. This car will never see another dealer as long as I hold the title.
So as much as I want to take it back it is not really an option, besides that I'd like to learn alot more about...
Its a newly rebuilt 7mgte, 87 5 speed. Pretty well stock, just have a new 255lph fuel pump (stock FPR).
It Idled high when I got it back from Toyota, so i used the adjustment screw and got it down to where it should be 650rpm, but its rough here. Starts fine every time, idles around 1300...
I have looked through all the tsrm diagrams and threads on this site, but i must be missing something....
its an 87 turbo 5 speed, had ac and cruise but long gone thanks to PO.
The hose is connected to the rail and just hanging there, I cant find where it needs to go.

replaced the filter myslef and hand tightened it, leaks the same.
Kind of... its a long story, I need to write my build thread to fully explain. Basically my dad built the motor and life happened moved a couple times and didnt have the time or place to do it, car was in another state, had...
I dont think this is the problem, the block is bone dry (and still clean:icon_bigg) above the filter housing... but i'll double check them just to make sure.
I'm taking the housing off the block next weekend, we shall see. Toyota put it back together, but I have lost confidence in this particular dealership long ago....

I have a pretty major leak, there is a steady stream / drip coming down the side of the oil filter itself (the side facing the block). It seems like its coming from where the oil filter seal is but i cant tell for sure. I have changed to another filter but same result.
