lol very true! I just have other things I am more worried about, such as rent and brake pads and putting on my Tein HA's and getting my alignment done, and buying a full interior. The dyno WILL be within the next 2 weeks though. That is a promise. Plus... I keep looking at adds for MKIV...

Driftmotion is great, Aaron is wonderful to deal with! So far, Ace at Zankoku and Aaron at Driftmotion are my two favorites. Smoking on decel would be due to vacuum messing with the seals, IIRC.

Yeah, restarting helps the computer. Same thing with defragmenting and running check disk at least once a month. It will keep it 'healthy' so to speak. Restarting let's the computer make any necessary system changes. A lot of files cannot be edited by the operating system while it uses them, so...

I just reached 700 miles on my new build and the 23 year old turbo finally is starting to let go. It smokes a little every now and then on decelerration, but only after boosting hard through several gears. Kind of blue-ish, smells like oil. No coolant though. Everything else is perfect, no signs...
