my mom has a volvo. something is wrong with the wiring they use. i had to completly rewire the front and rear lighting because the wires just fell apart. it was like they were dipped in acid or something.

ok i figured out what it was! my flywheel bolts were backing out of the crankshaft. i guess the fact that it wasnt staying centered was making the clutch pedal do all that.
