I have had my supra for just over a year now and like two weeks ago I
finally got to ride in a turbo car. The only think it did for me was make me wanna go broke boosting my N/A.
Jeff came over and listened to it and he said its too quite neutral and it just sounds like a noisey head but when you drive it, it sounds more like rod knock.
So I am not completely sure what to do. I think im just gonna look for a donar motor and then rebuild mine the way I want to.
Thats the funny thing before I left for cedar point I checked it and it was full
I get it home and I hear the knock so I check the oil and its a quart low.
And I also had me keys so no one would drive it.
I mean it burns oil but never have I seen a quart go in 8 miles.
And it dont leak...
Well the story starts off as me going to mephis, tennesee for three days for my job.
then going to cedar point for three days for my brother in laws birthday.
the story end as me starting my supra today for the first time in a week
and I hit second gear about 2000 rpm's and I hear a knocking...
Congrats!!!
This is wierd though your babys weight and length is exactly what
My prediction for my baby is.
Anyway Congrats and good luck!
On another note do you still have that W-58?
Hes a cute kid.(Thats from my preggo)
Ok I here people saying 1bar and then others saying a setain number of
boost whats different in the way the two gauges read?
Im a noob and I am curious.
I never heard of a clogged cat causeing it to overheat,
but my auto teacher did say that the weirdest thing you thing of
happing to a car can happen.
It goes into the shop on monday so hopfully it is
something very simple and cheap.
I just bought a 1998 Ford Contour w/ the 2.5 DOHC, for my preggo girlfriend
and on our way home it started to over heat, And the temp gauge was stuck way past hot. The guys said it sat for a while. so I figured the thermostat was stuck. Went to replace it and there wasnt one in the housing.
