Your correct...the Z06 trans is good for 800++lb ft. with the proper clutch. Tremec has got their stuff in order. The Cobra, Z06, and Viper all use the T56 in different variances.

American mfg nut swinger? haha...The drivetrain was tested on the Z06 platform actually to prepare for the higher horsepower on the ZR-1...transmission is very similar and has been proven...Tremec as you may or may not know, makes some outstanding stuff. I give credit to where it is...
